Under the amnesty law, protesters must clear off all seized administrative buildings not only in Kiev but also in other Ukrainian cities, and to unblock roads in Ukrainian cities

KIEV, February 14. /ITAR-TASS/. Ukraine’s authorities have fulfilled their obligations under the amnesty law, Vitali Grushevsky, a lawmaker with the ruling Party of Regions, told Itar-Tass on Friday.

“Today, prosecution bodies filed a motion to mitigate punishment for people suspected of the organization of mass upheavals, hooliganism, blocking of administrative buildings and transport facilities in January 2014,” he said. “Corresponding procedural steps have been taken in respect of these people, and measures of restraint against them have been mitigated.”

“We hope the implementation of the amnesty law will not be unilateral and the opposition leaders would also make steps to ensure unblocking of buildings and state institutions and would remove barricades in central Kiev,” Grushevsky stressed.
