GENEVA, February 10. /ITAR-TASS/. Russia’s hopes for the current round of the talks in Geneva are realistic while the Syrian parties mistrust them and reveal disagreements on a communiqué, Russian permanent representative to the U.N. and other international organizations in Geneva Alexei Borodavkin told Itar-Tass on Monday.

“Our hopes are realistic. It is clear that we’ll wait for concrete results,” the diplomat said, adding “We should take into account the fact that there are deep mistrust and disagreements between the delegations of the Syrian government and the opposition on important issues related to the implementation of the Geneva Communiqué of June 30, 2012.”
