Thai oppositionists wear t-shorts with different slogans and tie up their hands and heads with bands in colors of the national flag.

Another act of violence was reported on Tuesday near the camp of the opposition’s student wing. An unidentified person threw on the protesters a self-made explosive device, which wounded one person. He was rushed to hospital. In addition, an explosion occurred near the house of one of the protesters’ leaders Samran Rodphet in Bangkok. No casualties were reported following the incident.

Earlier, the Constitutional Court confirmed the commission’s authority to postpone the voting date by its own decision disregarding the government’s opinion.

On Monday, leader of the oppositionist Democratic Party Abhisit Vejjajiva, whose political alliance is currently boycotting the elections, told journalists that “the Democratic Party could consider the issue of its participation in the election process in case of setting a new date of elections.”
