GENEVA, January 26, /ITAR-TASS/. The fate of Syria’s President Bashar Assad can be decided by the Syrian people in elections, Syrian Deputy Foreign Minister Faisal Mekdad said on Sunday.

“The only way to see the light at the end of the tunnel is elections,” he said.
