Ukrainian opposition calls for early presidential elections in 2014

Klichko did not utter a word about Yanukovich’s offer in his speech at Kiev’s Independence Square late on Saturday

KIEV, January 26, 1:56 /ITAR-TASS/. Vitaly Klichko, the leader of the UDAR party (Ukraine’s Democratic Alliance for Reforms) has not replied to a proposal by Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovich to take up the prime minister’s post. Klichko did not utter a word about Yanukovich’s offer in his speech at Kiev’s Independence Square late on Saturday.

Instead, the politician said that the opposition was insisting on early presidential elections already this year.
