KIEV, January 21. /ITAR-TASS/. Russian TV journalist Stanislav Grigoryev from REN TV was injured overnight to Tuesday while making a broadcast from Kiev’s Grushevsky Street, where clashes continue between protesters and police.

REN TV reports on its Facebook page that a stun grenade exploded close to the journalist as he was making a report. The journalist was taken to hospital with suspected compound leg fracture.

“We were standing between Ukrainian special police force and protesters to make a report,” he was quoted as saying. “I believe if it were not a stun grenade but a real one my leg would have been torn away for sure,” he said.
