Protesters throw crackers at police, while police officers use tear-gas
KIEV, January 20. /ITAR-TASS/. New clashes between demonstrators protesting against new laws restricting public protests and police have erupted on Grushevskogo Street in central Kiev, where about 2,000 protesters got together, many of them wearing gas masks.
They are throwing crackers at police, while police officers use tear-gas. The street is blocked by what has been left of burned out hardware, behind which hundreds of policemen with shields and a big number of police buses can be seen.
Protesters are strewing salt on the asphalt, where ice has formed after the use of water cannons.
