MOSCOW, January 13, 18:05 /ITAR-TASS/. A Russian fishing trawler, the Novoazovsk, has been detained by a Norwegian patrol boat in the Norwegian Sea, a source in the public relations centre of the Russian Federal Fisheries Agency Rosrybolovstvo told Itar-Tass.
The Novoazovsk was stopped by a patrol boat of the Norwegian coast guard, the Nordkapp, and is convoyed to the Norwegian port of Tromso for investigation. The vessel is not damaged and the crew are in good health, said the source.
The ship is owned by the Arkhangelsk Trawl Fleet company and is based in Murmansk. It has a crew of 45.
