Putin and Ban Ki-moon stress the need of joint struggle against international terrorism.

MOSCOW, December 31, 0:07 /ITAR-TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin and U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon stressed the need to join international efforts to fight an international terrorist threat in a telephone conversation held on Monday, the Kremlin press service reports. “The U.N. secretary-general has expressed genuine solidarity and deep sympathy in connection with the ruthless terrorist acts that occurred in Russia,” the press service went on to say.

A city railway station and a trolley-bus became the targets for extremists on December 29 and 30. According to the latest reports, 32 people were killed and dozens were injured.
