Forty criminal cases opened over violence-related events in Kiev

KIEV, December 20. /ITAR-TASS/. Forty criminal cases, including the case over the demolition of the Monument to Soviet leader Lenin in central Kiev, were opened over the violence-related events in Kiev, Ukraine’s capital, from November 24 to December 11, Ukrainian Prosecutor General Viktor Pshonka said in a report at the country’s parliament on Friday over the dramatic events, which had occurred overnight to November 30 on Kiev’s Independence Square.
