KIEV, December 18. /ITAR-TASS/. The Russian-Ukrainian agreements reached within the interstate commission on December 17 should not have a negative impact on relations between Ukraine and the European Union, head of the EU delegation in Ukraine Jan Tombinski said on Wednesday.

The European Union wants Ukraine to maintain good relations with Russia and the EU as well, Tombinski said.

Commenting on prospects for signing the Association Agreement, he said the European Union needed a clear position by Ukrainian authorities on this issue.
