HONG KONG (XIANGANG), December 17. /ITAR-TASS/. Kim Han Sol, a nephew of North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, who several days ago disappeared from the university in France where he studies, has resurfaced on the campus of Sciences Po. He was seen in his dormitory accompanied by several plainclothes police officers, the South China Morning Post newspaper reported on Tuesday.

Earlier, several media outlets reported that the 19-year-old grandson of late North Korean leader Kim Jong Il had disappeared from the university and had not contacted anyone for several days. He also removed his name from the university post box for safety considerations. Media outlets linked that with the recent execution in North Korea of Pyongyang’s number two man Jang Song Thaek.

Kim Han Sol is a son of Kim Jong Il’s eldest son — Kim Jong Nam, who had lived abroad for many years - in Macao, in mainland China and in Singapore. In one of his interviews last year, Kim Jong Un’s nephew labeled his uncle a “dictator”.

He graduated from the Bosnian branch of United World College in Mostar, and in September 2013 he began studies at the prestigious French university Sciences Po, officially known as the Paris Institute of Political Studies.
