About 1,500 protesters remain at Independence Square (Maidan Nezalezhnosti). They spent the night there, warming up by fires and dancing accompanied by Ukrainian musicians.

At dawn, about a hundred protesters came to the government’s building in Grushevskogo street to replace those who had spent the night there. The fresh forces brought with them metal screens to enforce the barricade put up on Sunday. By the governmental building, they warm up themselves by fires in barrels.
