KIEV, December 05. /ITAR-TASS/. Ukrainian Interior Minister Vitaly Zakharchenko said on Thursday he was not going to resign because of current development in the country.

“If I resign, pressure will be exerted on interior bodies and it will be impossible to give an unbiased account of what has happened,” he told a news conference. “I want to analyze the situation objectively. I think I can do it in my post.”

The opposition demands Zakharchenko’s resignation after a forcible dispersal of a protest rally in Kiev’s Independence Square on November 30 and over the use of force against protesters in front of the building of the Ukrainian president’s administration on December 1.
