KIEV, December 02. /ITAR-TASS/. Leaders of the three opposing factions in Ukraine’s parliament /Verkhovna Rada/ demand resignation of the government headed by Nikolai Azarov, Arseniy Yatsenyuk, Vitaly Klichko and Oleg Tyagnibok told a meeting at the parliament on Monday.

“This is our first demand. The second demand is to stop political repressions, which means liberation of Yulia Timoshenko and the three activists, who were arrested during the rally in Kiev,” Arseniy Yatsenyuk, leader of the Batkivshchyna faction, said.

He refused from the initiative from the parliament’s speaker Vladimir Rybak to have a roundtable on the situation in the country.

“We used to be by the same table as we discussed adoption of the laws on the integration. It is the end now — a divorce,” he said. Yatsenyuk said leaders of the opposition considered it ineffective to continue discussions. “We are heading for Maidan (Independence Square), as we have much work there,” he said.

Yatsenyuk added the opposition’s leaders were planning to have meetings with ambassadors accredited in Ukraine.
