MOSCOW, November 6 (Itar-Tass) - President Vladimir Putin appointed Alexei Labetsky Russia's Ambassador to the Eastern Republic of Uruguay, the official website of legal information reported. Labetsky is replacing Sergei Koshkin.

Earlier, Labetsky had the post of Russian consul general in Rio-de-Janeiro.
