MOSCOW, October 11 (Itar-Tass) - Russia is interested in participating in the project to build the trans ASEAN gas pipeline, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said at the 8th East Asia Summit in Brunei.

"We're interested in active participation in the project to expand ASEAN's interconnection, including the projects to develop regional transport infrastructure, such as the construction of the trans ASEAN gas pipeline," Lavrov said.
