MEXICO CITY, September 26. (ITAR-TASS). - An earthquake of magnitude 6.1 occurred today in southern Mexico. This was reported by the National Seismological Service.

According to data available, the epicenter of the quake was located 101 km west of Puerto Madero, located in the state of Chiapas, near the border with Guatemala. The earthquake’s epicenter was located at the depth of 10 km under the sea.
