NEW YORK, September 19 (Itar-Tass) - Syria consents to a transfer of its chemical weapons to any country which will be ready to accept them, President Bashar al-Assad of the Syrian Arab Republic stated on Wednesday in an interview to the American Fox News television channel.

He said that Syria will abide by the terms of the agreement on chemical weapons.
