The Dnepr rocket carrier was created on the basis of an RS-20 inter-continental ballistic missile (SS-18 “Satana” by NATO classification), an official spokesman for the Russian Strategic Purpose Troops said.

“The satellite separated from the rocket carrier’s third stage at 18:55 Moscow time,” he said.
