PARIS, November 6. /TASS/. French presidential candidate Marine Le Pen of the National Rally party said that the end of French President Emmanuel Macron’s tenure in office looks pathetic.

"Emmanuel Macron has indeed broken all records, including with the rejection of the draft budget, which didn't receive a single vote, not even from his own lawmakers. All this shows that the end of his presidency looks, frankly speaking, somewhat pathetic," Le Pen told reporters on Thursday. BFMTV published a video of her remarks.

The first round of France’s presidential election is scheduled for April 2027. No specific date has been set yet. It must take place 20 to 35 days before May 13, 2027, when Macron’s term expires.
