DOHA, November 4. /TASS/. The Houthis of Yemen’s rebel Ansar Allah movement have carried out a ballistic missile strike on King Khalid International Airport in the Saudi capital, the movement’s military spokesman Yahya Saree claimed.

"The Yemeni Armed Forces [referring to the Houthis - TASS] <...> carried out a ballistic missile strike on King Khalid International Airport in <...> Riyadh," Saree said in a statement carried by the Houthi-controlled SABA news agency. According to Saree, the missile hit its target accurately, causing significant material damage.

The rebel spokesman also urged international airlines, their employees, and passengers to avoid Saudi Arabian airspace, once again describing it as unsafe. The only exception, he said, is the airspace above the Muslim holy cities of Mecca and Medina.
