WASHINGTON, November 3. /TASS/. The United States intends to hold consultations with its NATO allies in Brussels this week to discuss assistance to Kiev and "Europe’s security architecture" after the end of the conflict in Ukraine, US Special Presidential Envoy Steve Witkoff said.
"American negotiators will meet this week in Brussels with representatives from France, Germany, the United Kingdom, the EU, and NATO to discuss security guarantees for Ukraine, Europe’s post-war security architecture, and economic opportunities to support Ukraine’s reconstruction," he said on X. "We look forward to building on the progress made in Kiev, Oslo, and St. Petersburg toward a comprehensive, durable peace agreement that delivers lasting security for generations to come", Witkoff added. He also said that US-mediated consultations involving Russia and Ukraine would take place in Abu Dhabi on November 10-11.
Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin told Witkoff at a meeting that Moscow was ready to resume trilateral talks on settling the conflict in Ukraine. Kremlin Aide Yury Ushakov said they could take place in Abu Dhabi in the first 10 days of November.
