Constitutional crisis unites Polish right against Tusk — Politico

BRUSSELS, November 2. /TASS/. The constitutional crisis in Poland has given the local right a common goal - to overthrow the government of liberal Donald Tusk, writes the European edition of Politico.
The publication urges the European Commission to "watch out" in relation to Poland, where eurosceptics may come to power. According to it, "The epic battle over who will govern Poland from 2027 is on. This weekend’s rule-of-law crisis is helping unite the country’s fractured nationalist right," the paper notes.
President Karol Nawrocki was supported by Jaroslaw Kaczynski, the founder of the Law and Justice party, and Grzegorz Braun, a supporter of Poland's withdrawal from the EU. Slawomir Mentzen, one of the leaders of the Confederation bloc, also spoke out in favor of uniting the right against Tusk. "There are plenty of differences between our programs. But ending Prime Minister Tusk’s government is the fundamental common goal," Anna Brylka, vice-president of the radical right Confederation party, told Politico.
In this situation, Politico notes that Brussels should already "watch out", because this time the right can really change the political landscape in Poland. After a pause of several days, the European Commission supported the former head of the European Council, Tusk, in the Polish conflict.
