MOSCOW, November 2. /TASS/. A NATO reconnaissance plane registered in the US spent over four hours circling Russia’s westernmost Kaliningrad region from within Polish and Estonian airspace, a source in air traffic control services told TASS.

"A Bombardier Artemis II aircraft began circling near the Russian region at about 2:10 p.m. and is now heading back to its home airfield in Romania’s Constanta," the source said, adding that the plane’s route passed over international waters in the Baltic Sea.

"The aircraft conducted a circular flight at an altitude of about 11 kilometers, particularly crossing corridors designated for civilian aviation," the source added.

According to the source, this is one of the main routes used by the Bombardier Artemis II, which follows it several times a week. The aircraft is also frequently spotted over international waters in the southern part of the Baltic Sea, flying from west to east and back. Occasionally, the reconnaissance aircraft also flies over central parts of the Baltic countries, making turns near the Estonian coast of the Gulf of Finland.
