BEIJING, November 2. /TASS/. Tehran will resolutely defend national sovereignty and security while remaining ready to hold talks with all parties, Iranian National Security Council Deputy Secretary Ali Bagheri Kani said at a meeting with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi in Beijing.

According to the Chinese Foreign Ministry, the senior Iranian security official outlined Tehran’s position on the situation in the region. He pointed out that Iran would firmly defend its national security, sovereignty and territorial integrity, and resist pressure and threats, while remaining open to dialogue with all parties and actively seeking to promote regional peace and stability.
