MOSCOW, November 2. /TASS/. Pressure and attempts to discredit the cooperation of the Central African Republic (CAR) with Russia will not change the republic’s course, CAR President Faustin-Archange Touadera said in an interview with TASS.
"Pressure and attempts to discredit our cooperation with Russia will not change our course, as it is based on real needs in the field of security and development, and not on momentary considerations," Touadera emphasized.
Previously, he noted that Russian instructors helped the CAR army prevent a violent seizure of power in the country by militants, as well as ensure the holding of elections, when in 2020 and 2021 the very existence of the constitutional order was under threat.
