Mojtaba Khamenei also ordered that the target bank be updated so that the tangible and intangible assets of the United States and Israel would be within the reach of the armed forces

TEHRAN, October 31. /TASS/. The time and conditions to end military hostilities would be determined by the Iranian Armed Forces and the Iranian people if the enemy resumes military or terrorist attacks against Iran, Iran’s Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei stated on Saturday.

"If the enemies launch military or terrorist attacks again, it will be the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic and the Iranian people who determine the time and conditions for the cessation of hostilities," the Iranian Supreme Leader’s press office said in a statement at a meeting with high-ranking military commanders of the Iranian Armed Forces.

According to the office, Khamenei also ordered that the target bank be updated so that the tangible and intangible assets of the United States and Israel would be within the reach of the armed forces.

The US and Israel launched a war against Iran on February 28. In June, Washington and Tehran signed a memorandum of understanding providing for an immediate cessation of hostilities on all fronts, including in Lebanon.

However, in the early morning hours of July 8, the US resumed large-scale strikes against Iran, accusing it of violating the terms of the agreements reached on the Strait of Hormuz.

Nearly 25% of global oil trade and about 20% of the liquefied natural gas trade are transported through the strait. The US administration then effectively indicated that it would stop using large-scale military force against Iran and instead seek to economically strangle the country through sanctions.
