The drone attack against Moscow during the Russia-Africa summit was truly difficult to understand, Armando Mema noted

STOCKHOLM, October 30. /TASS/. Ukraine is seeking to derail trilateral talks in Abu Dhabi by continuing large-scale drone attacks on Russian cities, said Armando Mema, a member of Finland’s national conservative Freedom Alliance party.

"If such attacks will continue in the coming week, especially during Russia's Unity Day, the trilateral talks with the US and Russia in Abu Dhabi are at risk of being cancelled," he wrote on X.

"The drone attack against Moscow during the Russia-Africa summit was truly difficult to understand as Ukraine is approaching peace talks with US mediation," Mema said.

"I do hope that Zelensky will not make vanish US efforts for Peace and Diplomacy with such actions," he added.

Russian Presidential Aide Yury Ushakov earlier told reporters that President Vladimir Putin had informed US Presidential Envoy Steve Witkoff during their meeting that Moscow was ready to resume trilateral talks around mid-November, focusing primarily on building a security framework for Russia and Ukraine. According to Ushakov, the next round of talks between Russia, the US and Ukraine could take place in Abu Dhabi.
