The US president declined to comment on whether he had discussed the issue with SpaceX CEO Elon Musk

WASHINGTON, October 22. /TASS/. Ukraine’s access to the Starshield military-grade satellite service has been restored, US President Donald Trump said.

"I don't want to comment on it. You know, whether I called or whether somebody else called doesn't make any difference. I guess the bottom line, he put it back," Trump said, commenting on media reports that he had called SpaceX CEO Elon Musk to ask him to lift restrictions on Ukraine’s use of Starshield.

"But my relationship with Elon is a very good one," Trump added.

The Wall Street Journal reported earlier, citing sources, that the system began operating more normally shortly after Trump’s conversation with Musk. "Some Ukrainian officials said the system wasn’t restored to full functionality but was working at higher speeds than under the cap," the paper said. According to The Wall Street Journal, Musk initially ordered restrictions on Ukraine’s access to Starshield.
