TEHRAN, October 19. /TASS/. Iran and Russia’s joint economic projects, including the establishment of strategic transport corridors, help strengthen regional stability, Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council Mohsen Rezaei said.

"Joint economic projects between Iran and Russia, in particular, the completion of strategic transport corridors, contribute to strengthening regional stability," he said at a meeting with visiting Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, as quoted by the IRNA news agency.

According to the agency, Rezaei welcomed "Russia’s ideas and initiatives geared to expand bilateral cooperation." He also "reaffirms Iran’s strong commitment to strengthening strategic partnership with Russia."
