DOHA, October 15. /TASS/. Yemen’s Houthi movement Ansar Allah has denied involvement in the launch of a cruise missile toward the Saudi city of Medina, Houthi military spokesman Yahya Saree said.
"Yemen’s Armed Forces (the term the Houthis use to describe their formations - TASS) confirm that no operations involving strikes on Saudi Arabia were carried out today. Saudi allegations about an attack toward Medina are a blatant lie," he said in a statement posted on Telegram.
Earlier, Turki al-Maliki, spokesperson for the Saudi-led coalition, said that air defenses had intercepted and destroyed a cruise missile near Medina in western Saudi Arabia.
