LONDON, October 14. /TASS/. The UK will accelerate deliveries of Lightweight Multirole Missiles (LMMs) to Ukraine, British Prime Minister Andy Burnham’s office said in a statement.

"The UK doubles down on support for Ukraine, including delivering 45 million pound sterling ($60 mln - TASS) of surface-to-air missiles," the statement reads.

"The UK has already committed 1.6 billion pounds to deliver more than 5000 LMMs to Ukraine over the next four years and will accelerate 10 million pounds of the 45 million pounds package of missiles <…> to meet Ukraine’s most urgent winter requirements," the office said.

The statement from Burnham’s office has been published ahead of his meeting with Vladimir Zelensky in London scheduled for October 14.
