Zelensky’s actions undermine Trump, hurt Americans — US leader’s adviser
Washington should stop considering Vladimir Zeleinsky as a good ally, Alex Bruesewitz said
WASHINGTON, October 12. /TASS/. Vladimir Zeleinsky’s actions have undermined US President Donald Trump and hurt the Americans, and Washington should stop considering him as a good ally, political consultant Alex Bruesewitz said.
"He called the [US] President 'weak' two days ago and bombed oil refineries moments after the President announced a deal with Russia. Let’s stop pretending that he’s a good ally," Bruesewitz, who serves as an adviser to Trump, posted on his page on X, referring to Zelensky. "If you’re still in communication with him, you should tell him to stop undermining Trump and hurting the American people with his actions," he continued, addressing Laura Loomer, a US far-right political activist who interviewed Zelensky earlier.
Bruesewitz also commented on Saturday’s events on the social media: "Zelensky is not being a friend to the American people." "His targeting of refineries last night and this morning, right after America reached a deal to help lower diesel costs, only provides further proof," he added.
Russian President Vladimir Putin and Trump discussed oil product supplies among other things in a phone call on October 9. The Russian head of state said that Moscow had reaffirmed its readiness to supply oil and petroleum products to the US and global market. Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak said Russia will lift its ban on diesel exports ahead of schedule and is ready to supply 300,000 tons of diesel in October, increasing the volume to 500,000 tons in November and 1 million tons in December. Monthly supplies could subsequently reach 3 million tons further down the road. The US administration, in turn, issued a general license authorizing Russian diesel supplies to the global market until April 7, 2027.
