MOSCOW, October 11. /TASS/. Ukrainian mercenaries and military intelligence have supported terrorists operating in Mali, Fousseynou Ouattara, Vice President of the Defense Commission within Mali’s National Transitional Council, told TASS.

"The terrorists <...> were funded and armed by colonial powers and also received support from Ukrainian mercenaries, particularly from Ukrainian military intelligence," he emphasized.

Ouattara noted that the militants constantly attacked Malian army positions. In light of this, starting in April, the general staff developed and implemented a strategy to retake territories and completely destroy the terrorist groups.
