WASHINGTON, October 10. /TASS/. Vladimir Zelensky has had numerous chances to end the conflict but has chosen not to do so, US President Donald Trump said.

"Zelensky could have settled this war many times, many many times, and he chooses not to," Trump told reporters.

"I think it's time for Ukraine to get a new president," he pointed out, adding: "I suggest they get a new leader who can make a deal, because he could have made many deals that, for some reason, he never does."

According to Trump, Zelensky "wants to make problems for the world." "He wants to make problems for our farmers, our ranchers, with diesel fuel because Russia supplies a large portion of the diesel fuel throughout the world," Trump noted.
