BELGRADE, October 9. /TASS/. Montenegrin security forces discovered "drones, sophisticated digital equipment, and electronic devices" in the possession of Mikhail Zvinchuk, administrator of the Rybar Telegram channel, and his associates when they were detained, the Montenegrin newspaper Vijesti said, citing sources within the republic’s security services.

The newspaper had earlier reported the detention of Zvinchuk and his associates in the town of Risan. Those detained included Zvinchuk’s wife, Valeria, and three other individuals. The operation was carried out by Montenegrin police in coordination with the country’s National Security Agency. According to Vijesti, the security services had received information about Zvinchuk and his associates’ arrival and had been monitoring their movements for several days.

Zvinchuk is under British sanctions. The US Department of State has also placed him on a list of individuals involved in influence operations targeting the US electoral process.
