TUNIS, October 9. /TASS/. Two unmanned aerial vehicles attacked positions of Iranian Kurds, opposed to the government in Tehran, in Iraq’s northern province of Erbil, the Al Hadath television reported citing own sources.
The report says the attack targeted facilities in Erbil’s district of Rizgari. No information about deaths or casualties is available at this point.
It was the first attack on Erbil following the withdrawal of US troops, the television said. The report did not specify who was behind the attack.
