MOSCOW, October 8. /TASS/. Russian companies are going to participate in modernization in Mozambique, Ambassador in Moscow Jose Mateus Muaria Katupha told TASS.

"You know, we have just ended our intergovernmental commission in Moscow yesterday, and I'm happy to announce there were many Russian companies wanting to participate in the process of modernization of Mozambique," the Ambassador said.

Mozambique is the country "which needs infrastructure for development," the diplomat said. "We have a huge program for industrialization of the country, and many companies from Russia are bidding for providing not only equipment but technical assistance in the maximization of the exploration of the infrastructures of Mozambique, both railways and maritime transport and other areas of infrastructure, especially in the area of tourism," he stressed.
