Iran holds talks amidst full-scale war to defend its rights, President Pezeshkian says

RABAT, October 7. /TASS/. Iran is in a state of full-scale war and is conducting negotiations under these circumstances to defend the legitimate rights of the Iranian people, President Masoud Pezeshkian said.
"We are engaged in a full-scale war, and under these circumstances, the government is pursuing a strategy of resistance while continuing negotiations to defend the rights of the Iranian people," Pezeshkian was quoted by the Fars news agency as saying.
He added that the Iranian authorities "cannot allow current difficulties to undermine the well-being of citizens or disrupt the production process."
Pezeshkian noted that Tehran maintains dialogue with neighboring countries "to meet some of the Islamic Republic’s needs." At the same time, the Iranian president stressed that "reliance on one’s own strength remains the fundamental principle."
