CENTCOM rejects reports of US Navy helicopter loss over Red Sea

All US military aircraft and personnel across the Middle East are safe and accounted for, the US Central Command stated

NEW YORK, October 6. /TASS/. All US aircraft and personnel in the Middle East are accounted for and remain in their assigned locations, the US Central Command (CENTCOM) said.

The statement came in response to media reports that an MH-60R Seahawk attack helicopter of the US Navy disappeared from radar screens after sending a distress signal off Saudi Arabia’s coast.

"Reports of a downed US Navy helicopter in the Red Sea are not true," CENTCOM said in a statement, posted on the X social network. "All US military aircraft and personnel across the Middle East are safe and accounted for.".
