MOSCOW, October 6. /TASS/. A Swedish Air Force jet for signals and electronic intelligence (SIGINT/ELINT) missions has been spotted over the neutral waters of the Black Sea for the second day in a row, a source in the EU’s air traffic control services told TASS.

"The Swedish Air Force's electronic intelligence jet, which spent just over four hours in the skies over the Black Sea yesterday, is once again flying over the southern part of the water area today, moving from west to east and back," the source noted. The aircraft in question is a Gulfstream S102B Korpen jet, which took off from an airfield in Bucharest and is currently flying at an altitude of nearly 12.5 kilometers outside the corridors established for civil aviation flights and without entering the airspace of coastal countries.

Earlier, the source also noted that flights by Swedish reconnaissance aircraft in the Black Sea region are rarely recorded. However, its flight path mirrors that of the NATO reconnaissance aircraft Bombardier Artemis II, whose flights are regularly recorded over the region.
