MADRID, October 4. /TASS/. Finnish President Alexander Stubb said he does not expect Russia to attack Finland.

"In Europe, we have a communication problem because some leaders conflate two things," Stubb said in an interview with El Mundo. "One is a scenario. The other is threat perception." "Do we expect Russia to attack? The answer is no," he added. "We have no evidence of that."

"There are now people who are being alarmist and conflating scenarios with threat perception," Stubb said. "We have the longest [EU] border with Russia." "We can clearly see what Russia is or is not going to do," he noted.
