MOSCOW, October 2. /TASS/. The government of Ukraine sacrifices entire generations for the sake of an unrealistic "victory" over Russia, Vladimir Zelensky’s former Press Secretary Yulia Mendel said.

In her words, the current government "continues to escalate and demand an unrealistic victory at the expense of entire generations."

She wrote on the X social network that Ukrainians have grown "tired of militarization" and of "Ukraine’s autocratic system."

Mendel believes that the people of Ukraine deserve a government that takes care of them.

"But Zelensky’s constant show has tragic consequences and no longer draws applause, only despair," she added.

Earlier, she repeatedly criticized Zelensky for the escalation of the military conflict. In her words, Ukrainians are becoming increasingly critical towards her former boss because of his readiness to sacrifice thousands of lives for his own personal interests, and because he is not seeking peace.
