The report says that more and more European voters start to view financial and military assistance to Ukraine as a harmful and dangerous practice

NEW YORK, October 2. /TASS/. Many European citizens have grown tired of the Ukrainian conflict, with more and more of them supporting parties that oppose military assistance to Ukraine, The Wall Street Journal (WSJ) wrote.

The report says that more and more European voters start to view financial and military assistance to Ukraine as a harmful and dangerous practice. As an example, the newspaper cited Germany, where nearly a third of voters support political forces that oppose additional military aid to the Kiev government.

On top of that, Europe’s burden has grown lately because the US administration stopped its direct assistance to Ukraine.

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin told a plenary session of the Valdai Discussion Club that Russia needs security guarantees and long-term conditions for peace in Ukraine.
