BELGRADE, September 30. /TASS/. Republika Srpska (entity of Bosnia and Herzegovina) is Russia’s strategic partner, leader of the entity’s ruling Alliance of Independent Social Democrats (SNSD) party Milorad Dodik said.

"Russia has become a global player and one of the most important addresses in the world for us. Russia reaffirms its commitment to developing relations with Republika Srpska at the highest level. Our position is clear: we are Russia’s strategic partners," Dodik said at a press conference after returning from Moscow.

During a meeting at the Kremlin on September 29, Dodik introduced Republika Srpska's Prime Minister Savo Minic to Russian President Vladimir Putin. Minic is the SNSD candidate in general elections in Bosnia and Herzegovina that will be held on October 4.
