BRUSSELS, September 30. /TASS/. The European Union cannot provide Ukraine with the amount of air defense systems it needs because member states lack sufficient stocks, Bulgarian Prime Minister Rumen Radev said at a military and space conference in Brussels.

He said that the EU could not provide Ukraine with the amount of air defense systems it required because member states had already transferred all available systems, while the defense industry needed time to produce new ones.

Radev also called for diplomatic dialogue on the Ukraine issue.
