BRUSSELS, September 28. /TASS/. The Netherlands will allocate €10 million to develop training facilities in Ukraine to expand the training of its military personnel, Dutch Defense Minister Dilan Yesilgoz-Zegerius said.

"Today we will announce the allocation of €10 million for training facilities in Ukraine," she told reporters upon arrival at a meeting of EU defense ministers in Brussels. The additional funding will allow more Ukrainian servicemen to undergo training, she said.

The minister also noted that the Netherlands and its allies have already helped provide training to nearly 100,000 Ukrainian soldiers and officers, including under the EU Military Assistance Mission in support of Ukraine (EUMAM Ukraine).

Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova has repeatedly said that Western assistance to Kiev would not be a panacea capable of influencing the course of hostilities and that Western weapons "will be systematically destroyed by the Russian armed forces."
