WASHINGTON, September 27. /TASS/. The United States and Iran will hold another round of indirect talks on Monday, September 28, Axios reported, citing sources in the Middle East.

According to the sources, Qatari mediators continue to engage in "shuttle diplomacy" in an effort to broker an agreement between Washington and Tehran. They will hold separate meetings on September 28 with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and US Presidential Special Envoy Steve Witkoff.

It remains unclear whether the sides will be able to overcome their existing differences during the talks, the news outlet noted.
