According to its information, the animals flew to the US from the Chengdu airport on September 27 at 2:55 a.m. local time (6:55 p.m. GMT on September 26). Prior to that, a farewell ceremony was held for them at the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding. Male Ping Ping was born on March 17, 2020, while female Fu Shuang was born on October 18, 2020.
